When we got there, we decided we wanted to stay an extra night, and they sorted it out straight away. We did have to change rooms for the last night, but they moved everything for us while we were out hiking, couldn’t have been easier. Our first room (#10) was super comfy, tastefully decorated, and had a great bathroom. After a day on the trails, we’d head to the picnic area, fire up the BBQ, and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun go down, perfect way to end the day. Jody and I hit it off right away, she’s into photography and hiking too, and she had loads of tips on where to go. Honestly, staying here felt like coming home. We’ll be back for sure!

The property is non-smoking and is located 21 km from Franconia Notch State Park. Great little lodge. At first I was a bit anxious about the fact there is no one to welcome you but everything works great. Rooms are beautifully decorated, well equipped and very spacious. the public areas are also great and very pampering with many options of free beverages, hot and cold, snacks and cookies and all that is needed (silverware, cups, etc.). the lounge with the fire place is very cozy and inviting. Unfortunately it was freezing outside so we did not take advantage of the public sitting areas outside but these also look very inviting and facing a natural forest. It is really evident the owners have tried to think of every littler details. Like packs of conversation cards in various places, board games, books, treats in the room, and many more. Well located on the gateway to white mountains and also in Lincoln, quite close to many restaurants. In summary, a great option for staying at the Lincoln area.

The front desk staff went out of their way to walk us through where things were at the resort and answered all.our questions. We stayed here to celebrate our 3 year old son's birthday, so the kids place space was an unexpected pleasant bonus where my daughter and I were able to have a sensory-friendly birthday party for my child with Austim. We had pizza for dinner, played, and danced for a good 2 hours! Other guests who walked would join briefly and celebrate as well. We had a blast during our stay. I highly recommend for families.

Every room at this motel is air conditioned and has a refrigerator, microwave, full bath with tub and a shower, flat-screen TV, DVD player and a hair dryer. The hotel was clean and tidy. The room included a love seat sofa which was a plus for us. Bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. The hotel owner was friendly and even gave us great hiking tips and info on a couple waterfalls in the area considering the weather was rather poor. Would stay again.

A night time activity they had was to call for a bard owl which were beautiful to see and interesting to hear. The outdoors jacuzzi was a nice way to rest after a day's hike.
