The accommodation offers a wide range of services. The wellness area is excellent, the rooms are spacious, and the hotel's cleanliness was up to standard. The restaurant was also good. Overall, we had a great time and plan to return in the future. For a three-star hotel, I think it's a very good choice.

The traditional Geniesserhotel Rauter is located in the centre of Matrei in East Tyrol, close to the cable car.

Although this was a B&B it was very good and had restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast was good.

Alpengasthof Pichler has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Sankt Veit in Defereggen. There is a children's playground and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.
