The thing my friend and myself mostly enjoyed was peace and quiet of the place. The room was nice and cozy. Also, the breakfast was excellent and the young mister at the reception was very helpful and friendly, kudos to him for speaking Croatian as well! :)

    The breakfast was excellent, nicely prepared and enough dishes to choose from. The location is excellent, just a few steps away from the center of the town and the famous cog railway. The hotel is in an idyllic setting surrounded by beautiful nature. Also a commendable parking garage with enough space.

    The location was perfect, it was really quiet. Town and shops are 10 minutes far from the chalets by car, but it worth it because there is no one else around the lake, except the other guests. The sauna was really relaxing, I used it totally alone two times - maybe because it was early spring not in holiday season.

    The food was outstanding. If you consider yourself to be a foodie then this place is for you! We stayed for a week and had the vegetarian options a number of times and even these were stellar. Breakfast was great also with a good assortment of freshly baked bread, flavourful scrambled eggs, fresh fruit salad and a really nice tea section - and so much more! Lastly, the pool and spa area was all you could ask for. I don't normally swim in public pools but made an exception here. Chlorine levels were perfect.
