Great property and well maintained. So clean, even the underside of the decking areas had been cleaned! The hot tub was amazing and thanks for leaving it on ‘auto’ so it was ready whenever we wanted to use it! Really friendly communications and hassle free! We’ll be staying again! The dogs loved it too!

Great location and very spacious

Words can not describe just how breathtaking The Temple is. It's the perfect place to reconnect with nature even without having to leave the house. We arrived later at night, and the hosts were more than accommodating and quick to respond to any queries we had. Once we drove into the property, the first thing we noticed was the beautiful fairy lights lighting up the outdoor area that featured a hot tub, BBQ, and Balinese style daybed. We hadn't even made it into the house as we were busy admiring the pond with fish and a waterfall feature. There are only 3 few easy to navigate rocks that lead to the front double doors. The moment we opened them, we were greeted with a stunning layout of the kitchen/living dining area. We noticed on the bench a sweet handwritten note with a bottle of wine and delicious homemade biscuits in a cute little picnic style box. I could write a novel on the attention to detail they have included, but they have thought of everything. All kitchen utensils and cookware was included in a stunning yet cosy kitchen. The lounge area is small and intimate and features a stunning coffee table. Then, we noticed the double doors that led down to the hot tub and barbecue area. It was stunning at night and more breathtaking in the day with mountain views. There are rocks that form a bridge over the pond that keeps with the moat style entrance. This wouldn't be suitable for someone with mobility issues, but there is another path that leads past the fire pit area to access the hot tub area. The hot tub was turned on and ready to go, but we were keen to see the rest of the house first. The bathroom is beyond stunning. The first thing you notice is the free-standing bath that features a little tray adorned with cute little ornaments and bath salts. Then you have the double shower with shower heads placed on either side. This is all behind glass doors and feels cosy and intimate.

We had a great 2 night stay at this beautiful house, perfect in every way. Great location, walking distance to main street, cafes and restaurants. The house was immaculate, each bedroom had it's own private ensuite, one with a spa bath and the beds were SUPER comfortable. The complimentary cheese board was greatly appreciated and enjoyed in front of the cosy log fire. I highly recommended Pomegranate Guest House and I can't wait to stay there again.

we stayed with our 2 year old and my in-laws in a 3 bedroom lodge. we loved the lodge style, the space, beautiful grounds with a playground, a lake to have bbqs next to and goats and rabbits! 5 minutes drive to Healesville township.
