The staffs are very nice and helpful. The lounge is pretty. The castle is easy to approach, there is a bus stop just I front of the castle gate.

We were unable to fulfil our stay as our car broke down en route. We only notified the hotel on the day and they were gracious enough to take our circumstances into consideration and not to charge us which would have been their right. We were very impressed and grateful for the flexibility they showed. We are hoping to come and stay in the future. Thank you.

Unusual room lay-out (spread over two floors) but very luxurious. Excellent location. Breakfast under the trees overlooking a huge grass-field. Very enjoyable.

The location is perfect. Three of us were in a motorbike trip and booked late in the day as we were being quite adhoc. We stayed in one of the apartments facing the field and it was so peaceful. Its lovely internally with lots of character and feels homely. The owner came out to see us when we arrived and he was lovely to chat to and welcome us, he also gave us a bottle of their own locally produced Apple juice… There’s also a games room for darts, Flemish games and tables to socialise. It’s very rural which was ideal for our one night stay

Fantastic stay with Ingrid and Rob, such fantastic hosts. Their hospitality was top notch, we particularly loved our breakfast freshly cooked by Rob! 10/10. Our room was stunning and had everything you could think of, very equipped. The facilities were extremely clean and the location is brilliant! We look forward to staying with them again. Highly recommended to anybody wanting to stay here! Lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance which was very handy. Thank you for a great stay.

A lovely overnight escape from our 3 young children. Large, clean, beautifully decorated, quiet, good food, comfy bed, cycles available for free, room with tourist maps etc. We booked one of the sauna rooms which was fabulous. We used the cycles to go 2km to the local village (all along a flat cycle path) for our evening meal at restaurant Halte22 (this restaurant was much better than its website suggested, we recommended booking, because it was packed).

Breakfast had a great variety - if I wasn't working I would have had a glass of fizz Didnt use the spa as didnt have time Restaurant was fully booked so we ate in the bar, which is lovely but was disappointed that our second night (due to flight cancellation) on sunday wasnt open neither was the bar - so had to eat out Joke on reception was absolutely amazing - she was able to arrange a further night stay for us due to our flights being cancelled and when the bar was closed, was able to arrange drinks for us - she is a credit to Martins!
