Wonderful hotel at an exceptional location directly at the lake shore, and while on the outskirts of Lucerne with a frequent bus connection that takes one to the center in about 10 minutes, with the bus stop right outside the hotel. The staff at the front desk were amazing - friendly and helpful. They were able to assist us with an alternative option when our tour operator (Viator - never use them) cancelled thirty minutes before the tour and were unreachable. Their suggestion was even more cost effective than the tour operator and it ended up being a pleasant day afterall. So thumbs up for the excellent service in our time of need.
