The location is spectacular, right in front of the lake and has everything at walking distance. The service and facilities were amazing as well. The room was nice, clean and quiet. The location is right at the bus stop to the city center - keep in mind that you get a voucher for free transportation around the city (and discounts for many more). The hotel is reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Switzerland. What really made this stay special was the staff! Samer at the reception is such a funny and cool guy, made us laugh and feel welcome. If we ever return to Lucerne, I would stay here again.

Every element of our stay at Donat and Lina's Welness Alpengarten has been simply amazing! Located in a beautiful region, close to highlights such as Lucerne and Mount Pilatus, but remote enough to enjoy the serene Swiss nature. We were received very well by our hosts, explaining every detail of the facilities, while also providing tips and guidance on activities in the area. Breakfast was served royally, which could be consumed in the beautiful garden. The retreat itself is equipped with everything one could wish for, and recharge completely by enjoying the multiple private wellness facilities. We would love to come back here once more, and enjoy another Indonesian Nasi Goreng in the peaceful Swiss mountains!
