What an amazing experience! The room was large, comfortable and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful, they communicated with us so that a shuttle was waiting to pick us up from the station when we arrived. And then there was the view from the room… words cannot describe it. Heavenly. I would love to come back here. It was quite expensive in our standards, but definitely worth every penny.

My room was lovely — clean, quiet, and with the most beautiful mountain view. Waking up to that scenery every morning was pure joy. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious, with little local touches that made them feel homemade. It felt like someone put care into everything, not just service, but the whole experience. The area around the hotel is magical — peaceful walks, charming villages, and nature all around. I left feeling rested, inspired, and grateful. I’ll definitely be back one day. Gorgeous historic property that is well taken care of. stunning views. It was nice to have a place so nicely decorated for the Holidays. The staff was very kind and attentive. They made lovely conversation (telling us some history of the property, the area, etc). The food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious. We enjoyed that there was a spacious lobby for us to play card games. The tea time was lovely after a day in the cold. Additionally, the sauna was clean and nice to enjoy. The location is close to the Wengen train station and the cable car to Männlichen. There are ski runs from Grindelwald down to Wengen which would make it a nice place to stay if you ski.

The staff were nice and friendly and the chalet was nice and clean but little bit far and the breakfast was delicious
