Excellent service from the staff! Michelle was such a warm and lovely host, offering to arrange our cruise and attraction tickets for us, even guiding us on a short walking tour from the accomodation to the nearest attraction (LuDi Cave). Lily and Xiaolan were extremely friendly and helpful too! Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable!

To start: Helen is an amazing host! Very friendly and super helpful. She even welcomed us with some tasty fruit and juice. As for the accommodation, the rooms are very clean and beds are comfy. Highly recommended!

Wow! The staff here is very friendly. She loved telling us about all the best local spots. You can really feel the warmth of her service. On our first night there, we didn't want to go out because we were tired after a long day of travel so the staff showed us a demonstration of pouring Chinese tea using the artistic tea set they have. She also gave us some local Chinese desserts so that we could enjoy a quiet night drinking tea and chatting. A very personal experience.

Everything! The room was super beautiful with a nice view over the lake. All the propriety is really well maintained. Outside you can really relax and enjoy peaceful moments. Staff was amazing, super kind and helpful. Melody helped us to organize activities and also lunch and dinner. We really appreciate her kindness.

Breakfast was great,with a lot of variety,a spacious room, a large window, and it was clean. I particularly like the hotel swimming pool and gym. Friendly staff. All good,I'll definitely recommend it to everyone!

We had a pleasant stay at The Reed Flute Retreat, we booked the Suite with a terrace for 3 nights, it had a beautiful view of fanglian pond and mountains. It's 5 mins walking distance from the Reed Flute Cave which is one of the scenic points at Guilin. It's 10 mins away from Guilin city, very easy to book the taxi from alipay or WeChat app. For breakfast they have only Chinese and Western options which are very much sufficient and we'll cook and serve. Melody is very helpful, speaks good English and very prompt I'm replying to all the queries. She even suggests the tours and helps to book. Please note this property has two resorts Heshe Lakeside Resort and Reed flute Retreat it's owned and manned by the same owner.
