The hotel is simply beautiful and decorated with taste. Some amazing views from the window and yummy breakfast. The owners are super friendly and helpful trying to make our stay the best possible. We rented bikes and went around the area which is lovely and green, with fields and a river. If you prefer to stay outside of the big city bustle this is the place!

Had an amazing stay at Bonjour in Guilin! The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, making us feel so welcome. Our room was comfortable and beautifully designed with a modern touch. The bath overlooking the mountains was a highlight, as was the rooftop with stunning views – perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Guilin!

Everything! Especially the hospitality and kindness of Maria and her staff. It was like staying by a friend. We came late in the afternoon without having any bought tickets for the sightseeings (rice fields, Li cruise river) and she has arranged all for us. We would pay double via trip.com or klook. Also the next day when we have returned exhausted from the day trip, she prepared us tea, cookies and fruits. Amazing. The breakfast was delicious. The room, especially the bed very comfortable. I slept like a baby. I am very thankful to her and her team that she made our stay so great.

Everything! The room was super beautiful with a nice view over the lake. All the propriety is really well maintained. Outside you can really relax and enjoy peaceful moments. Staff was amazing, super kind and helpful. Melody helped us to organize activities and also lunch and dinner. We really appreciate her kindness.

The hotel is charming, located in a very quiete and peaceful location, walking distance from the Reed Flute caves and a short taxi ride to the town centre. Since we were staying 2 nights, they picked us up from the train station which was very helpful. The room and washroom we stayed in was very clean and well furnished. We are very impressed by the owner's hospitality and generosity. When we arrived there, we were welcome with smiles, oranges and tea. They offer assistance with tours in the region and transportation. We must mention two things that we are grateful that the hotel has exceptional quality for its services. First, we asked if it was possible to reduce our stay by one day, the owner had no hesitation to accept our change. Second, as we left early from the hotel room in a rush we forgot two personal items in the room. The owner contacted us right away and arranged the delivery our items to our new location more than an hour away. We highly rate and recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was great,with a lot of variety,a spacious room, a large window, and it was clean. I particularly like the hotel swimming pool and gym. Friendly staff. All good,I'll definitely recommend it to everyone!

We had a pleasant stay at The Reed Flute Retreat, we booked the Suite with a terrace for 3 nights, it had a beautiful view of fanglian pond and mountains. It's 5 mins walking distance from the Reed Flute Cave which is one of the scenic points at Guilin. It's 10 mins away from Guilin city, very easy to book the taxi from alipay or WeChat app. For breakfast they have only Chinese and Western options which are very much sufficient and we'll cook and serve. Melody is very helpful, speaks good English and very prompt I'm replying to all the queries. She even suggests the tours and helps to book. Please note this property has two resorts Heshe Lakeside Resort and Reed flute Retreat it's owned and manned by the same owner.
