Stayed with family of 12 people who spoke English and German. The staff had a table for all of us ready for breakfast every day so we could eat together. They are super friendly, efficient and accommodating. The spa is great and clean. Only thing missing as we went in summer is a pool.

Everything was amaying. The apartment, the symphathy and welcoming from the owner Silja. We will return, for sure, but for more days. It was a pity that it was just a night, and practically for overnight.

We had a wonderful stay at Alpenkönig. We had booked it for our 45th wedding anniversary based on reviews that the food was so good and it was a very welcoming atmosphere. And sure enough, the food was exceptional. Breakfast had everything you could wish for. Eggs were made to order, bacon was cooked for you too, French toast, oatmeal... all made to order. The buffet part of the breakfast was great. Mini croissants delicious. We took the half board option and were treated to gourmet-like food as well as presentation of the food. Delicious! The room we had was very big and comfortable with a sitting area. Everything was spotless. The walk into town was roughly 5 minutes. The scenery is beautiful. I highly recommend taking the Hündlebahn cable car. Beautiful open views and many possible walks. The owners were very welcoming and caring. Altogether a great vacation.

A really relaxing stay, with excellent facilities. The hotel has a long history and parts of the building are very old, but everything was clean and efficient. Excellent breakfast buffet, nice afternoon cakes or soup, and excellent supper.
