The best hotel in Luxor. We were surprised by this incredible hotel. Very clean, amazing service and very beautiful and comfortable rooms. We will def come back to Sonesta and recommend it to our family and friends.

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for a total of 12 days, all i can say is we were treated like royalty! Because we stayed for so long we got the chance to get to know some of the exceptional workers such as Mariana, Islam, Enjy, Mohammed & Ahmed. We had an amazing time at the hotel, the location, the views, everything was perfect. We felt a sense of security as entering the hotel, they do search vehicles and you will periodically see security guards walking around each day. Olives was our go-to restaurant, the food was incredible (Mediterranean shrimp pasta was a favourite). The staff at the Olives restaurant were incredibly funny and friendly. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful, easy-going and good natured, the staff honestly made us feel so welcome. We loved the main pool as sometimes they played music of different genres. The shisha area was really nice and relaxing, the shops were a little over priced. The spa area definitely had to be my favourite area, the spa staff were incredible! They were so thoughtful and even prepped the sun lounges for myself and my partner after they realised our routine (mornings in the spa area). They would bring us fresh cold towels and would be checking on us to see if we needed anything. By the end of our stay we felt like family and were really sad to say goodbye to all the staff. Overall it was our first time visiting Egypt, we absolutely loved it and are definitely coming back in the future! The hotel is definitely one, we trust and when we do visit Egypt in the future we hope to see the amazing staff we met.

I found this hotel on the list of the 50 Greatest Hotels by the Daily Telegraph, and it really deserves to be one of the top 50. There is nothing remotely comparable in Egypt. Beauty, attention to detail, service, and genuine staff. I will definitely come back for a longer stay.

This apartment was a fantastic choice for our stay in Luxor. The property itself is lovely, with nice, clean rooms and everything in working order. We really appreciated how all the amenities and appliances were functioning perfectly, which made our stay so easy and comfortable. ​The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, which made a big difference. The location is also ideal, with a market nearby, making it convenient to grab anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Luxor.

Quiet place on the nile shore with amazing sunsets. Very good food (try the kebap place). Large gym (good for cardio and weights training). Would definitely come here again.

The place is absolutely lovely, clean and cozy. The area is quiet and great for walks. Beautiful balcony, we ended up spending a lot of time just relaxing there, away from any hustle. The host is a very kind man who helped us a lot. Thank you very much!

Can't thank the stuff enough! Very polite, always ready to help without trying to upsell! Arranged hot air baloon for us for a very reasonable price and most importantly it was very well organised! Breakfast is great, the room was functional and spacious. Hotel in perfect location!

Unfortunately, our boat required unexpected repair, but the company, prior to our arrival, managed to put us on a different boat of equal if not better quality. We set sail on the Sonesta Moon Goddess, which was fabulous.
