Location, location, location! This hotel is perfectly situated, making it incredibly convenient to explore the entire city. The Jack and Jill sinks are a stunning feature, and the rooftop bar offers breathtaking views of the city skyline. While it would have been even more lively with a DJ on the weekends (just my personal preference), the atmosphere was still wonderful. Now, the staff—what can I say? Every single person, from the porters and reception team to the spa, housekeeping, bar, and restaurant staff, went above and beyond. They were all incredibly polite and helpful. We spent a lot of time at the rooftop bar and had the pleasure of interacting with Alessandro, who was fantastic and gave us great tips on places to visit. Connor (hope I got his name right—the Irish guy!) was super courteous, even bringing us blankets to stay warm. Grace was as gracious as her name suggests, the waitress from Georgia was so attentive and patient with my friend’s picky eating habits, and Johnny—what a character! His charisma is off the charts; I’d gladly pay to see his stand-up comedy routine! This was hands down my most memorable city break to date. I would recommend it 1000%!

Great location on La Ramble, perfect for exploring Barcelona and all its sights. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always available to give advice or recommendations. The breakfast was a highlight as was the spa.

We booked Monument Hotel for our honeymoon stay at the end of our week long cruise. We booked a Junior Suite to treat ourselves for our once in a lifetime trip. We got a taxi from the cruise port for about €20 and from the moment we pulled up to the hotel, it has been 5 star service. We arrived early expecting not to be able to check in as usual check in is 3pm, but to drop off our luggage and have a morning in Barcelona before heading back. We were very lucky and very grateful that a room was ready and available so we were able to check in early. We were given our room key and shown to our room. The suite was beautiful. It was immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable. Plenty of space and the bathroom was lovely. There was a freestanding bath tub and the rainfall shower was one of the best I've had. Non-alcoholic drinks in the mini bar were included in the room price which was great, as well as a few snacks. The service that all members of staff provided was brilliant. They were all so helpful and friendly. I felt incredibly welcome here. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is a short walk to Casa Batllo and the shopping area of Las Ramblas, as well as very accessible to public transport. I look forward to visiting Barcelona again in the future and I would definitely stay at Monument Hotel again.
