I had booked an airport hotel as my trip was very short and I didn't want to spend too much time commuting but when this property popped up on Booking.com with a Genius discount I thought, this is a must-see! A major selling point was the free sauna, convenient location in the town where I had my business meetings and the great reviews about the breakfast. Upon arrival at Backby I was transported to a fairy like destination. The landscaping, the buildings, the air that was pure and fresh. Everything felt magical. I slept soundly in the firm single bed and enjoyed a superb breakfast buffet the next day! Even more special the sun was out in all it glory on my second day so I was able to enjoy breakfast on the terrace with a view of the lush Finnish forest. I sat outside for two hours in the sunshine enjoying a three- course breakfast of fresh berries with yoghurt, bread and pastries with sausages, and specially made hot chocolate! This place makes me want to return to Finland!

This was probably the best airport hotel I have ever stayed in. The apartment was super comfortable. The decor looked fresh and well looked after - something that can't be said for many similar properties. It was also very clean. A very short walk from the airport terminal and yet there was very little noise.

VERY CENTRIC (Lidl below Noli, train station/ bus stops/ trams very close nearby). Lots of common areas to play pool, videogames. Also sauna / jacuzzi included at no extra price.

10 euro in a taxi from the airport. Fast friendly check in and great luggage leaving facilities. Family room was perfect for 3. Very clean. Breakfast was ok. Kids lived the chocolate fountain and marshmallows!!!! Water park is excellent
