If you are fortunate enough to stay at Le Domaine du Castellas, you won’t regret it. The property is secluded, and once you arrive, you may not feel the need to do much touring, but that is precisely why it deserves a place in your holiday. This is not just accommodation, it is one of life’s special experiences that will stay with you for many years. The journey along the long, narrow road is soon forgotten when the property opens up before you. The views, tranquillity, beautifully appointed rooms, and exceptional service make it all worthwhile. We left already knowing we would return, something that rarely happens. The staff play a huge part in the magic here. From the talented chef to the gardening team, front of house, and the meticulous Elsa Picaud Dor, who we believe is the reason the property is so immaculate, every detail is cared for with dedication. We often come across wonderful properties with potential, but it is rare to find somewhere as special as this. If you are in the area, I would also suggest staying at Domaine Les Martins, closer to Gordes, which makes a perfect combination. David and Régis are outstanding hosts, and if you are lucky enough to find a room, you must experience their level of service. Together, these two properties offer an experience every bit as good as Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, but with far more local charm.

Located close to the Luberon Park, Coquillade Provence welcomes you in a typical 13th-century wine-making village.

Perched above Bonnieux Village, this hotel overlooks the Luberon Mountains. Avignon is 50 km away.

The moment you enter Capelongue you are welcomed by a charming valet who whips away your car and luggage, then offered a cold refreshment or coffee or both while you check in. We were upgraded to a lovely two story room with a little terrace and close to the spa and pool. The rooms are lovely, the setting is amazing very provencal with lavender, rosemary and summer flowers in bloom. We ate at La Bergerie the more casual restaurant for dinner twice , the food was great and the setting lovely. This is a 6 star hotel could not fault anything.

Set on a 1-hectare park in the heart of the Luberon Natural Park, Les Sables d'Ocre & SPA Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the centre of the village of Roussillon where many restaurants can be found.

My husband and I like the room, a view and the balcony. Breakfast was excellent! The breakfast area was beautiful. Also, the hotel location is great.

Located in the hilltop village of Gordes, Airelles Gordes, La Bastide features 18th century décor and offers panoramic views over the Luberon valley from its many terraces and hanging gardens.

The property is spectacular! Amazing staff and so many little gifts during the stay (mini bar included, hat, bag, cake at the arrival, etc). We loved everything! The staff is super efficient for check in and check out. They came so fast to collect our bags and before the check out everything was ready in the car.

Located just a 5-minute drive from the centre of Gordes, Hotel Les Bories & Spa is set in an 8-hectare estate of olive trees, cypresses, oaks and lavender.
