Our suite was spacious, bright and airy. It was tastefully furnished and decorated. There was lots of storage space - wardrobe, shelves and drawers. The hosts had thought of everything.

The children very much enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed the breakfast.

We loved everything.A gloriously beautiful hotel with a warm,friendly and lively staff.A beautiful sheltered garden.Great attention to detail and considerate touches. The most delicious breakfast I have enjoyed anywhere in the world!We will definitely be going back.

Breakfast on a tray without giving us a knife fork or spoon to eat it with. Told to arrive between 5-7. We arrived 5,20, no one to greet us until half an later. We had moved a table into the shade to try and keep cool, and when grumpy hostess arrived, no apology, merely an order to put the table back to where it was at once. Not told that the Tour de France was coming along the road next day, and that the road would be closed all day, so we had to move our car in the evening to avoid being trapped all day. Altogether a throughly unhappy stay.

Easy to find with loads of free parking. The staff speak good English and are very friendly and professional. The rooms are very large, clean, well appointed and very comfortable (apart from our air conditioning wasn’t working properly - which was the main reason we chose this hotel. They did try to fix it but weren’t successful). The food in the restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced.

Sancy Resort offers self-catering accommodation located in Chambon-sur-Lac in the Auvergne region, 6 km from the lake. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas.

Beautiful hotel in stunning location, exterior view is amazing. Staff were the best. Common areas are great. Rooms could do with slight up date but that is the only slight criticism.
