Usually I would have rated the place 9 (nicely located, clean and comfortable), but with Nikos this turns into a 10, thanks to his kindness, his great advices on restaurants & bars you should visit (or those to avoid), and the fact that he is always there if you need anything. Travelled as a family and had a really nice stay here. Owner is very nice and can help you out with recommendations. Spot is very good - 3 mins from beach and right near the city center, has also supermarkets, restaurants, shops really close The location itself has a very nice view over the mountains and it’s also quiet (for september at least), you can also hang out by the pool, it has nice surroundings Rooms were very clean and have a lot of space, towels were changed daily Simple breakfast but good and always fresh, served by the pool Price is good for the offered services

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sunshine Boutique Hotel by Estia in Malia! The rooms were spacious, very clean, and well maintained, with fresh towels provided daily and thorough housekeeping every day. The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better – it’s set in a peaceful spot, yet within just a few minutes you’re right on the strip or at the beach. Besides there’s a lovely little shop and a nice restaurant just a stone’s throw away from the hotel. Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning, offering a great variety of breads, eggs, sweet treats, and spreads. The pool area was fantastic as well, with plenty of sunbeds available – no stress about reserving them with towels. The pool bar had a wide selection of drinks and snacks, making it perfect for a relaxing day by the water. What really made our stay outstanding was the staff. Every single person we met was cheerful, kind, genuinely interested, and always willing to help. We never lacked anything during our stay. A very special thank you goes to Amanda and Marios, who went above and beyond to help us arrange our return transfer to the airport – their thoughtfulness really made a difference. Having stayed in Malia several times before, we can confidently say that this is by far our favorite hotel. We can’t wait to come back!

The service at the hotel is perfect, the staff is courteous and responds to every request with a smile and kindness. The villa is well-equipped, clean and simply perfect. The location of the hotel is truly dreamy, located on the mountain, with a simply stunning view, and is close to all the main places. Highly recommend staying at this hotel.
