The hotel and the room were just as beautiful as the photos, very clean, modern, stylish, and extremely comfortable. I was delighted to find that the bath amenities were from L’Occitane. The staff were very kind, and although my stay was short, I had a very pleasant time throughout. I also appreciated the advance guidance on booking park tickets and the proximity to Entrance 2. The location was also excellent, being about a 5-minute drive to Entrance 2 of Plitvice. We were able to smoothly trek inside the park with entrance tickets for 7-8 AM in mid-August without any crowds.

We loved our stay here. Everything was perfect, from the welcome drink to the comfortability of the beds, the modern interior, the cosy common areas. I cannot recommend this place enough. The breakfast offers a huge selection of croissant, bread, cereal, meats, cheese, tomato, fruit etc. and you can order eggs additionally in your favorite style. The coffee / cappuccino was also terrific. The dinner - fresh home-made cooked meals - were also fantastic. The owners are very friendly and we had a good talk about Croatian culture and of course the lakes - the main attraction of the area.

The hotel is also called Ethno Houses which is easier to find when following the road signs. It is across the river/lakes from the highway so is extremely quiet with a restaurant and free parking. If you buy your entrance ticket online for 9am the next day, you can walk to entrance 3, cross over the lake and walk up to bus station 1, ride to the top and then walk down to boat 2 back, walk to the biggest waterfall and then back up to the hotel and leave. In the afternoon before, after you check in, you can take a lovely walk along the top for free views of the crowds and falls below. The reception staff are very helpful.

The best place in the Plitvice Lakes to stay. Low price and high comfort. Hotel is located 15 mins from Lakes park in a very quiet place. Personal of the hotel is fantastic (very kind and helpful). Breakfast is very satisfying as well.

    Very easy location for entrance two and the national park is incredible. Whirlpool and sauna were nice but very dated. Had one of the best massages in the wellness centre. Staff at breakfast and dinner very friendly.

    location, 10 min walk from plitvice lakes, the villa has nice layout, spacious living room, big tv, cozy couches, great terrace with jacuzzi and view of nature, big and hot sauna, fittness equipment, great massage personel, friendly reception, house was very clean, was a bit worried with some reviews but no fault whatsoever.

    We stayed for one night and we really recharged our batteries. Our suite included private hot tub for two, balcony, 2 restrooms, living room with kitchen and a beautiful bedroom with flat screen TV and awesome king size bed. Place itself is very peaceful and relaxing, placed inside the heart of a national park. Food is awesome, breakfast was abundant.

    Fantastic location - walk to the lakes (via stairs). Helpful staff. If arriving by bus, you can request their driver to collect - otherwise it is an awkward trip from the bus station (no. 2 is closest). Driver was very helpful on my return to the bus stop and reception staff were very kind in organising it. There were spa facilities (sauna, massage etc) however I did not use so cannot comment.
