Stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel is well located in the Sudirman district and on top of Ashta mall. The breakfast buffet is a great spread, the staff are attentive and remember you, and gym also has a lot of good facilities. The rooms are charming with a good view. Overall a great stay. Ps for those who do not know Sudirman has a car free day on Sunday mornings so cabs cannot come to the hotel. Would recommend getting a grab bike or walking out of the area before ordering a grab!

The Orient is one of the nicest places I'll ever stay. Everything from the staff, to the pool areas, to the rooms, were incredible. A special thank you to Reza for his hospitality. The pool areas were beautiful and it was such a peaceful way to start my trip in Indonesia. The attention to detail was incredible and I will be sure to visit the Orient on my next trip to Jakarta. The peace and cleanliness of the hotel was nice to come back to after the busy city. The rooms are well equipped and have a very comfortable large bed. Every staff member was very pleasant and smart with a warm smile. The dining area was very nice with a great selection for all tastes and nationallities. The staff show pride in their work and it really does make a difference. We cannot rate this hotel enough and if we were ever in Jakarta again, would definitely stay here. Keep up the good work!
