We absolutely loved our stay at Plataran from our initial greeting with our personal butler, Devin, at the airport to check out. The staff were incredibly welcoming. Within 20mins of being in the resort we opted to extend our stay. The rooms were lovely, we stayed at a beachfront villa. The room was large with a little sitting room and huge bathroom. There was a turn down service of an evening which was an extra little surprise. A filtered water tap was available so bring a reusable water bottle. The plug socket is a travel adapter- what a brilliant concept! The resort was definitely making an effort to be eco-conscious. Devin was a real delight and incredibly helpful. He was easily accessible via WhatsApp and helped us organise a variety of excursions. His English was great and we enjoyed talking to him. We did the sunrise breakfast which was beautiful. The spa was relaxing. Food was plentiful. We also did the snorkelling excursion to Angel island which was incredibly beautiful and another wonderful picnic was set up for us. There is a lovely on-site gym which was great. We have travelled extensively and the staff at Plataran have to be some of the best we have experienced. It was my birthday a few days after our stay and Devin even took the time to message. It’s this sort of attention to detail that really makes a trip. Thank you to all the team!

Super clean Bathroom, and bedroom! Staff is extremly friendly. Good location, supermarkt basement, little foodcourt on 2the floor, overall ideal place to stay in Labuan Bajo, near busy tourist area. Restaurant on 7the floor is nice, more indonesian food, not to many western food just toasted bread.

I stayed at Meruorah Hotel for 2 days and 1 night — and I absolutely loveeeeeee it! 💖 From the moment I checked in, everything felt smooth, warm, and welcoming. The female receptionist was soooo professional and sweet. She explained everything in detail about our room and the check-in process, which made everything so smooth and easy. Her warm and polite attitude really set the tone for our stay. 🥰 Later in the evening, before going out for dinner, I spoke to a different receptionist (this time a male staff). He was also super professional and explained in detail about the restaurant we were planning to go to , including the menu, estimated pricing, and even a useful tip to double-check the price with the restaurant directly before ordering. He mentioned that sometimes there can be confusion with orders, so his advice was really helpful and thoughtful. It’s rare to see front desk staff who are this attentive and genuinely care about their guests’ experience, even beyond the hotel. I really appreciate both of them and their professionalism. 💖 The room was clean, spacious, and cozy, with everything I needed thoughtfully prepared. The hotel itself has beautiful vibes, and the facilities were top-notch. Every corner of this hotel is beautiful! 💗 And the highlight for me was definitely the breathtaking Labuan Bajo view from my balcony. It made the whole experience feel like a dream! 🚢✨ Meruorah Hotel gave me such a memorable short getaway. I’m already thinking of coming back! Thank you for the warm hospitality and incredible views of Labuan Bajo from my balcony. I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends and family and i cant wait to return soon ! 🌅 💕

Amazingly beautiful location with a large comfy room. The best bed we have had in 5 months travelling. The staff were amazing, even decorating the room and providing a cake for my boyfriends birthday. Free breakfast was amazing.

the environment, the beach, everything was so relaxing. the staff is simply great, kind and provides excellent care. You can book transfers to city and airport for a reasonable price, breakfast is very good, the common area is simply fantastic, with plenty of space to read and relax. You can use kayaks and snorkel gears, organise trips to close by islands, and the beach is never crowded.
