A wonderful place with amazing staff and excellent service. Nothing is ever a problem. The room was huge and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the location was perfect.

Luckily my wife and I booked this Resort for 3 nights in the beautiful region of Sidemen. The personal of the Sawah Indah was extraordinary helpful and courteous. We had a bungalow that was located a little hidden on the property with an open bathroom (partial open roof) and a nice sitting area at the entrance of the bungalow. The breakfast had two options, Balinese or Western type – where we always chose the Balinese breakfast of course. It was also possible to get it as a vegetarian version. The restaurant of the Sawah Idah was also very good for dinner, still, alternative Warungs and other restaurants are available within minutes by foot. A comfortable bed for the night guaranteed a recharge after exciting day trips around this magnificent region of north-east Bali. Unfortunately, we haven’t had the opportunity to go in the swimming pool, but it looked fantastic in the scenery of the beautiful garden and surrounding rice fields.

The check in was smooth, communication consistent. A welcome drink and show of the bamboo house. We had a floating breakfast one morning and the romantic dinner with flower pool and that was breathaking. The village area is quaint with a few lovely little spots to dine and walk about. The view is lovely with Mount Agung in the forground and the lovely little rice paddies with a beautiful color scheme. The host and family are truly lovely people with a flare for service. Food was fanatastic and our breakfast daily was phenomenal. I would stay here for longer !! The lush gardens and breeze was divine.

An absolute gem of a find! Beautifully decorated, extremely kind owner and welcome, and what a view! Rare to find such gem! Additional bonus was great menu from nearby Mexican restaurant with some exceptionally good food choices (beyond just local cuisine). One of the most magical dreamy stay, but PLESE be aware that there are no closed windows, so you are very much 'one with the nature'

Our stay at Wapa di Ume was exceptional. The stunning location and beautiful facilities are reason enough to stay, but it was the staff who truly made our experience unforgettable. Ayu gave us a warm welcome and supported us throughout our stay, always responding promptly on WhatsApp and greeting us by name with genuine warmth. Gede, our tour guide and driver, went above and beyond to personalise our trip, his kindness and local knowledge made our time in Sidemen even more special. We recommend both the Gembleng Waterfall Tour and local sightseeing tour with Gede. The cooking class was a highlight, fun, engaging, and led by staff with a great sense of humour. We also had a lovely chat with the hotel manager, Sri, who embodied the same incredible hospitality. On arrival, we were surprised with a complimentary bottle of wine, cake, a happy anniversary message, and a flower bath, and when we left we were given a parting gift, such thoughtful touches that reflect the care this hotel gives to its guests.

This is a gem of a place. Located a short walk from the beautiful Sidemen rice terraces hike, it’s in a quiet location yet a quick drive from the main restaurants strip. It’s also possible to eat at the hotel restaurant, the food is quite tasty and they can serve your dinner in your room terrace as well if you wish. There are only 4 or 5 bungalows here, and we had lots of privacy on the terrace and in the shared pool (we had it all to ourselves). The garden is beautiful and the jungle view is luscious and uplifting. Compared to most hotels in Sidemen, this one still feels ‘authentic’ and had a traditional Balinese vibe, with spontaneous hospitality rather than a westernised and stiffer service. The room is very beautiful, and although it would benefit from a little update here and there, and some deep cleaning behind the furniture, it was comfortable, clean and spacious. The little pond around the bungalow and the fishes in there were a big hit with the kids :)

Cepik Villa is located in a quiet Sidemen Village, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the mountains, rice fields and gardens.

Spacious, clean and with stunning views of the jungle and rolling landscape. Outside of the actual rooms, the grounds were beautifully kept and provided a sense of serenity. The staff were also extremely welcoming and accomodating to us, thank you team!

We loved staying at Kankhara Villas. The Villa had only recently opened this week. The Villa was beautiful, clean and had lots of great amenities. The private pool was lovely and clean and has beautiful views over Sidemen. The location is great, close walking distance to many Waurungs and quite. The hotel also provided the opportunity to organise activities and transport. The staff where incredibly kind and attentive and went out of their way to make the stay wonderful. The breakfast and afternoon tea where delicious with many different options. We only stayed one night but wish we had stayed longer. Thank you for a great stay.
