Hosted by Sum and his beautiful kind family, I was only staying for one day and extended for three because Tetebatu is so beautiful. The homestay is super clean with a modern bathroom, bed is cosy and balcony terrace has a stunning view. There is no air conditioning but the room is in the middle of the rice fields so at night it’s cool and you don’t need it anyway. Sum and his family also offer private tours so you can check in and not have to worry about anything.

It was amazing to have a house for yourself and feel like you have a home. The place was really quiet and we had a great time staying here. Breakfast being included was a good bonus also. The guy looking after the place is really kind and we felt really well looked after. I think it would be nice to have more kitchen amenities in the house for example a kettle to complete the place. Also a fan would be great for the room too but it didn’t get too hot to be honest. The location of it is a bit out of places but easy to access with motorbike so would recommend getting one.

Great location! Nice big room, comfy bed and great shower with lots of hot water. The grounds and swimming pool were beautiful and very well kept by the hardworking staff. Very peaceful location overlooking the rice fields. Thank you so much to the staff who really went above and beyond, so friendly, welcoming and kind. We had an unforgettable stay at Aranka Tempasan. The huts on the campground were very spacious and comfortable. The accommodation looks out on a beautiful valley of rice fields. What made the stay truly special was the amazing staff. They were all young, local people learning the hospitality trade. They were incredibly professional and friendly. They deeply cared about given their guests the best possible experience. The activities such as a bonfire and bike ride through the town were all great ways to get to know the area and the community.
