Lovely location away from the city but you can still walk in for 10-12mins through beautiful forest/jungle. There's a tea plantation up the road which is worth exploring. Host Ranga was very friendly and let us do our washing and dry it on their rooftop which was great!

The property indeed reminded of Kashmiri heritage. The interiors and furnishings were authentic. Rooms were spacious, neat and clean. Food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Shout out to Mithun (chef), Shambu and Shahid who took good care and made the trip memorable. Property is nestled between the tea gardens and the location is ideal to visit places.

Sterling Ooty Elk Hill offers a peaceful retreat set 2240 metres above sea level.

The views are amazing - particularly at sunset. The staff were all very helpful from reception to wait staff. Special mention for the maitre d’ who was very welcoming. We were half board and the food was excellent.
