VINEHO was the most perfect experience. I was going to stay in Alba for 5 nights, but I decided to treat myself, and it was the best decision I could make. I was worried that my expectations were too high as I have Italian heritage, and I love Barolo wine, but VINEHO blew my expectations away! I was a solo traveller (in my early 30s), and even though I was the only guest for my whole stay, it was magnificent. Cristina was an extremely helpful, friendly, and hospitable host. She allowed me to check in early and responded to my WhatsApp messages within minutes. Each time I saw her, she had a glowing smile, and she happily chatted with me in our mix of English and Italian. Lucia, Cristina's daughter, was also very kind and sociable. Lucia was always present during breakfast. She made coffee and happily conversed with me about VINEHO, the vineyard, and life. I also had the pleasure of briefly meeting Lucia's nonna and nonno, who were both very happy and welcoming. The breakfast was a highlight - in addition to Lucia's warm pressence, there was delicious Italian food prepared by Lucia's nonna each morning, plus a range of fruit from the garden and other homemade cakes. Everything reminded me of my nonna's cooking. And if everything above isn't enough to convince you, the pool was magical, the views were stunning, the apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped... 10/10 I will return! Excellent location for a visit to the Barolo area. The owner and her staff were extremely helpful. We particularly enjoyed the wine tasting carried out by Ilaria, a real expert and exceptionally eloquent. We were also impressed with the wellness facilities and with whole compound. We look forward to our next visit.

Eleonora’s family has created a paradise in the middle of Barolo winery!! They renovated the Relais with taste and only quality material!! We had a great welcome and spent a lovely stay!!

This is such a precious gem and we are so glad we found it! The staff is the sweetest and the welcoming was so warm we felt at home right away. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful with local and super fresh products, the rooms are clean and modern with a tasteful decor and the pool area is a lovely oasis. We also really appreciated the kindness and the thoughtful gestures, like popsicles and infused water by the pool and all the help with restaurant reservations and recommendations for day trips. And of course, the wines from the winery are spectacular. Thank you, Katia & Co, see you next summer! :)

The property is tucked away in a very small and cute rural village with the views to die for. The castle like building, the room, all the details are just beautiful. The owners restaurant is also outstanding for breakfast and dinner.
