What a fantastic hotel! We had such a warm welcome. The staff are genuinely lovely, always smiling, charming and really helpful. We used the free hotel bikes, well maintained and perfect for exploring the lake. The terraces, sauna and pool are nice for chilling out. Breakfast was brilliant too!

This is a strategic location to visit Lake Garda if you want to be distant from the always noisy street of Sirmione or Peschiera d.l. Garda. The large garden with a cooling pool is a reward at the end of a long day. Our dogs definitely had a great time with local dog-force. The lake visit is within reach by car or bike. The hospitality of Christine is beyond words, you just feel they have been owning the place for generations now. Once you visit, do not miss asking her about their wines. And obviously taste is a must.

This place really is a palace, but without all the over-the-top Venetian fluff :) Everything inside and out is clean and cozy. The staff make sure you never get lost navigating the rooms and floors. The mattress and pillows are so comfy, that you won’t want to get up and go to the spa :) But trust me, you definitely should, because the spa is beautiful, tidy and has a great atmosphere. Breakfast is varied, fresh, and delicious. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Maybe there aren’t enough of them, or they’re just tired of that cute little classical music loop. It would be awesome to switch to some lounge music, or if they want to keep it classical, some minimalist composers like Arnold Schoenberg, Philip Glass, or Steve Reich would fit perfectly. The path down to the lake is really close, then just a 1,5 kilometers along the shore, and you’re right in the center. Pure bliss! This hotel is truly fantastic, one of the best in Desenzano. Highly recommend it for myself and all my friends. I had such a lovely time relaxing and chilling out in this quiet and lovely place.

We loved how quiet and remote it was. Guests were so respectful of other people. The allocated spaces at the pool are a great idea. Breakfast was beautiful and I liked the simplicity of what was on offer, no need to complicate it. But there was plenty of choice. The wine tasting was fantastic, staff were very generous with this and really took the time to make sure you understood them because of the language barrier. Staff were incredible here. From start to finish we were made to feel that nothing was too much for them. We had to leave early on the last morning to catch our flight but they gave us a discount because we missed breakfast, which we didn’t expect. Just 10/10 regarding staff.

The host family was exceptional! Very nice and modern house with a pool and enough space to relax. We had dinner in their restaurant which is a few kilometers away - it was sooo soo good! Highly recommend if you want local and seasonal food and try some traditional dishes!
