In the eveni ng a beautiful quiet surrounding, in clear skies starglazing. Dinner at 7:30 pm no available any more as the restaurant is the golf clubhouse. Nice big room.

It has a lot of different baths so it’s never too crowded even at busy times. Nice views of Mt Fuji from the room floors and the outdoor baths. They have a lot of restaurants inside the building as well.

There was a European/western classic feel to the hotel. The room was clean and spacious with a nice view of Mt Fuji. The service was very good.

We stayed here for 1 night as a stopover after Hakone and before travelling onwards to Kyoto; aiming to climb Mt Fuji via the Fujinomiya trail. Location - conveniently located as close to the Fujinomiya station. Room - our room was at the end of the hallway and we got a pretty good view of Fuji in the early morning. Breakfast - good selection of food and they were all great. Onsen - public onsen was great. Receptionist / staff - very accommodating and helpful. Managed to help us sort out our taxi to get to the 5th station of the Fujinomiya trail. We had to take the taxi as there are no n public bus due to the hiking season only officially starting on 10 July.
