Could not believe how great this hotel was (or how cheap!). We stayed in a family room which was very spacious - twin beds plus a tatami area with 2 futons. Room had a little kitchen (but no cooking or eating utensils), there is a communal microwave on level 1 and an ice machine on level 3. Bathroom was a little dated but we never used it anyway as the onsen is seriously amazing. Great rock pool with an outdoor garden feel, lots of showers. We often had the whole place to ourselves. Pools are also great. Outdoor pool is huge with a shallow kids pool as well. When a storm came in and they had to close the outdoor pool they opened the indoor pool for us (which was lovely and warm). Staff were all wonderfully polite, helpful and friendly. The pool attendants were hilarious and also really helpful. We stayed 4 nights and wished we had longer. Location was a great base for the middle of Okinawa island - ocean expo park (which had loads to do, even on rainy days), Nago and surrounds, Kouri, Yagaji and Sesoko island and the southern part of Yanbaru.

the best resort I ever stayed. staff of the hotel will make sure you are very comfortable. if you want something just ask and they make it happen. they even gave us a upgrade as the stay was a surprise for my partner as I proposed on the trip.

Words can barely describe how exquisite our stay was. After traveling the Japanese mainland and Okinawa, we stayed for six consecutive nights with breakfast and dinner included as the final stop on our journey. The hotel’s location on the kouri-island, with surrounding views over the ocean truly is unique. From all we have seen on our travel, the Kouri-island was the truly best finish to our travel. Culinarily, the hotel’s “Bombance”-restaurant offers enriching experiences, with an amazing deep-dive into the Japanese kitchen. Noteworthy is the attention that the staff pays to one’s food-preferences as well as the fact that we also had two nights where Japanese specialty cooking was practiced. Breakfast is rich and diverse, with the choice between European and Japanese breakfast. The pool, spa and sports facilities are top-notch and quiet. A nice amenity is the poolside “happy hour” with drinks (beer, prosecco and non-alcoholic) “on the house” from 12 until 6 o’clock. The hotel is a center of tranquility and relaxation, where one must not care about anything. This would not have been possible without the excellent, friendly and thoughtful staff. On our day of departure even a breakfast-box was prepared as we couldn’t participate at normal breakfast. It sure is unique to have been to a hotel where literally everything was perfect.
