It’s a very modern hotel. Everything is clean and still looks as new. The staff at the reception is friendly and helpful. We went to this place for the spa treatment. We had the most complete treatment, with all the bells and whistles and it’s highly recommended. The common area, showers, sauna, pool, treatment rooms and the tea/ relax room are very clean and cozy. (While these kind of places in Kazakhstan tend to be clean and hygienic in general, even quite new places tend to have a used an somewhat dilapidated look. This place definitely has the look of a high-end western Spa, with nothing out of place. The scrub and massage treatment (have I already said that the treatment rooms and the treatment itself were clean and hygienic?) was excellent. It took the whole allotted 165 minutes even though it felt shorter (not rushed, just surprised that the time was already over). After the treatment there was time for another session in the sauna, a dip in de pool or to relax in the tearoom with a big-screen TV, where there were several drinks available. Highly recommended and we will definitely visit again.
