We had an exceptional stay at Tri by Amaya. We stayed in a Lake Pool Villa and the room was perfect with a lovely pool. The staff were incredible - nothing was too much to ask. It's a unique boutique style hotel which has been carefully designed to offer complete privacy. The on site restaurant offers delicious food (the Sri Lankan curry and kottu is a must), amazing breakfast either at the restaurant or brought to your room. The coffee is worth mentioning as amazing! We made use of the spa which was great, a yoga session, in a gorgeous shala, sundowners at the water tower and dinner in the restaurant and in our room. It was the perfect escape and we couldn't recommend this location with Shane and his team highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay!

Amazing hotel in an amazing location. We travelled as a family with a 6mth old baby and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Bottles and baby cutlery etc washed every day and our baby was treated like royalty! The food is very good and very good value. We went half board which is recommended. The set menu in the evenings is good but may be a tad repetitive if staying more than 4/5 days or if you don't like fish or curry!! A special mention to Thejani in the restaurant, she was simply fantastic, helpful and made us feel so welcome, likewise with Samantha. Chamindi and the team at reception were always so helpful and welcoming.

Phoenix house is a brand new and very special little gem which is a bit tucked away from the bustling center of Ahangama. The family and staff that is running the place is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like you are at home. I had a beautiful cosy room with a lot of light, a comfy bed, clean bathroom and AC. The Sri Lankan chef Henry prepares whatever delicious meal you are craving for. A nice add-on are the events that are hosted on the rooftop now and then (at extra cost) with a beautiful ocean view.

The place is amazing, like a little piece of paradise in the middle of the jungle. Everything was so beautiful. The room is big and comfy, if you are looking for a place just to chill and rest thats the place for you. The staff is very nice and carring.

The staff couldn’t have been nicer they helped us a lot and were very kind. The whole atmosphere of this place is very zen and very nice. The rooms also have good bathrooms Aircon and beds. We also saw monkeys while eating a good breakfast.

What a beautiful space surrounded by nature, right on the lake. It’s set back from hustle of central Ahangama in Koggala, which is perfect to unwind and relax, spend the day by pool. The tree house is my favourite! The restaurant that just opened on the property is great, too. The best breakfast and fresh seafood of the day!

Great location, spacious, private, garden and everyone loved the pool. Special mention for Ishan & Eranda for taking care of us. So friendly and helpful. Great with the kids and always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Their cooking and the food was exceptional. Really enjoyed our meals and breakfast by the pool.
