The owner, Asanka, met us on the road and took us to the hotel. At that moment, there was a power cut in the area and Asanka did everything to make our evening wonderful - he lit candles so that there was light, prepared tea for us and treated us to a pie. He really wanted us to be comfortable, it's very nice! Soon the electricity returned. the rooms were clean, nice neat bed, clean bathroom, shower with hot water! Each room had bottled drinking water. In the morning you can see an amazing view from the balcony - you can see the mountains, the waterfall, on the other hand you can look at the train (they don't run at night, so we slept great). There were no mosquitoes and flies! We also had a wonderful breakfast in the morning! There was tea, milk, scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam, and a wide variety of fruits. Thank you Asanka for your concern!

This guesthouse had the most incredible view and the host was so lovely. The breakfast that was served was delicious and very traditional Sri Lankan - there was plenty to eat. Excellent value for money.

The Cozy forest Ella is a brand new place, very clean, modern, with all the facilities. The place is quiet, and the family is very nice and warm people. They received me with tea and biscuits and I had alsso the chance to test the best delicious Sri Lankan home made food. Don't miss this experience ! I received assistance to visit the touristic places in the city, from the first till the last minute. 100% recommended !!!

Good quality/price room, with good matress, mosquito net protection and antimosquito plug device, hot water, fridge! hair dryier and a iron. The terrace and the views were amazing, its the perfect place to relax and enjoy being in the nature. The breakfast was huge and delicious with sri lankan or western options. Ruwan and his wife were very kind and attentive and Ruwan is open to pick you up and drop you to/from downtown by his tuktuk and even available to guide you and make a tour throughout the most important Ella’s touristic spots.

This hostel was great! We actually booked a private room which was so spacious and had everything we needed. The man at the reception was extremely kind and helpful with any questions we had and sorted us out a motorbike to rent for a day! The location was perfect only 10 minute walk from train station and 2 minute walk to centre of Ella.

MUM Jungle Inn was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka! Sidath and his team are so friendly and helpful, it felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect - we were in the jungle but still only a couple of minutes walk along the train line to get to the main strip of food and shops. Off our balcony we saw monkeys, fireflies, mongoose, and squirrels. The breakfast was delicious and varied each day. Such a wonderful place! HIGHLY recommend! ☺️⭐️
