This place was so lovely - definitely the nicest on our travels through Sri Lanka. We loved how spacious the rooms were, and spending some time around the pool was an added perk on a hot day! Would stay here again.

Beautiful room with an equally beautiful ensuite bathroom (with hot water). Great location: town center still within walking distance but far enough to not get any city noises at all. Instead surrounded by lush greenery. The host and his family are very kind and super helpful: he fetched me with his tuk tuk from the train when I arrived, brought me to the bus station when I left, and drove me to Sigiriya, Dambulle and Polonnaruwa for a fair price. Also organized a safari to the local national park. The best was his wife's meals: The breakfasts but especially the home-made dinners were mouthwateringly delicious! Highly recommend you eat her home-made food as much as you can. The WiFi was good as well. I don't give 10 point reviews easily but this place highly deserves it. When you come to Habarana, stay here!

Lovely family! They did everything to make our stay memorabel. It was my birthday and they went to the bakery to get me a birthday cake and surprised me with a little party ❤️ The room is comfortabel with a nice private veranda in a beautiful garden. Highly recommended!!!

Woodland Sanctuary exceeded all our expectations. The wooden room was cozy and stylish, with a warm, natural vibe. The stones-finished bathroom was unique and truly memorable. Dudley and Maleesha were outstanding hosts, making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Breakfast by the garden was a treat, with traditional flavors and a serene view. The pool was pristine and perfect for relaxing after exploring. The peaceful atmosphere and views of the surrounding jungle made this place unforgettable.

We stayed at Sun Shade Resort & it was one of the memorable Hotel stay in our life. It was a well maintained property which includes all facilities for us. We had a private pool which includes exceptional floating breakfast arrangement in the pool. It was a nice experience for us. Room service & Dinner buffet were extraordinary. We enjoyed a lot.
