Super clean large rooms and beautiful balcony with a gorgeous view. Tea/Coffee station in the room along with WiFi and TV for entertainment. Breakfast was delicious! Probably the best Sri Lankan breakfast I have gotten (outside of my grandmas). Host was extremely kind and gave us lots of suggestions of places to visit. Great location in between Nuwara Eliya and Ella for people to see both places and travel without staying in both expensive areas.

From the moment of check in to check out, I had a wonderful stay at orient hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and professional and the food was delicious. Special mention must be made to the GM Mr. Chandima who was always on the scene and attentive to our needs. We were also provided with a Trek to Ella Rock accompanied by hotel staff and a packed hotel lunch which was an incredible experience I would highly recommend. Overall was a great visit and will definitely be staying here again next time I visit.

The owner, Asanka, met us on the road and took us to the hotel. At that moment, there was a power cut in the area and Asanka did everything to make our evening wonderful - he lit candles so that there was light, prepared tea for us and treated us to a pie. He really wanted us to be comfortable, it's very nice! Soon the electricity returned. the rooms were clean, nice neat bed, clean bathroom, shower with hot water! Each room had bottled drinking water. In the morning you can see an amazing view from the balcony - you can see the mountains, the waterfall, on the other hand you can look at the train (they don't run at night, so we slept great). There were no mosquitoes and flies! We also had a wonderful breakfast in the morning! There was tea, milk, scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam, and a wide variety of fruits. Thank you Asanka for your concern!

This guesthouse had the most incredible view and the host was so lovely. The breakfast that was served was delicious and very traditional Sri Lankan - there was plenty to eat. Excellent value for money.
