Breakfast was excellent: a lot of different dishes, tea, coffee, milk and lemonade. For one person it’s more than enough. The staff is very friendly, the owner helps every time for each guests with transportation, excursions and transport to the dinner on dark time - because it’s dangerous to be on a road after 11 pm due to elephant attack. I really like this place - the location is very close to lion rock, you can get it by step. the room has soap, shampoo, mini bar for extra money - tea, coffee and sugar. the light in room is good, conditioner working, mosquitoes blanket is present. The hotel’s garden is very beautiful. I spent nice time in the Rate Sigiri Rock Side Home Stay!!!

Fantastic view from a room. You can sit at the balcony and listen to a sound of a nature. Very friendly and helpful staff. Big variety of food on a breakfast. Great infinity pool. Exceptional architecture of a hotel.

Perfect place!!! The cabanas are spacious and very clean with the best shower we had in Sri Lanka. The pool is clean and large and a bonus for hot hours, we were with children who really enjoyed it. The host, Gamani, is so kind, helpful and friendly. We couldn't ask for a better place than this.

It is like an oasis after a busy day of travel or sightseeing. We loved it. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool is beautiful and the staff will help you with anything you need to arrange like trips, drivers etc. I miss it already!

Delightful experience, wonderful kind and welcoming members of staff who are keen to go out of their way to accommodate guests wishes. The food is excellent and well portioned. Staff also happy and keen to help organise any excursions or activities around the area.

The host and family were so welcoming, and even provided us with a safari tour. He is very skilled and we managed to always be the first ones to see the elephants as he knows the area very well. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a great bathroom and shower. The breakfast provided every morning was delicious and we sat on the porch overlooking the garden. It’s in a great location close to some lovely restaurants and a short drive from lions rock. I couldn’t recommend this Homestay enough, we really enjoyed our visit.
