I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at the enchanting Hotel Le Suffren in Mauritius, and I must say, it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, my daughter and I were transported to a world of pure elegance and grace. One of the true highlights of our stay was the culinary journey we embarked upon at the hotel's restaurant, where we had the privilege of being dazzled by the extraordinary sushi chef, Ritchy. His artistry with sushi was a revelation, and the flavors danced on our taste buds like a symphony. In fact, it's safe to say that this dining experience was the pinnacle of our culinary adventures in Mauritius. During our stay, a minor maintenance issue cropped up in our room. However, I was absolutely astounded by the swift and professional manner in which the duty manager addressed the situation. Not only did they resolve the issue with precision and care, but they also surprised us with a gracious refund for one night's stay. This unexpected gesture of goodwill touched our hearts deeply. Hotel Le Suffren is not just a place to stay; it's a haven of exceptional hospitality and grace. The staff's dedication to ensuring their guests' happiness is nothing short of extraordinary. Best place to be! We have spent 10 days at The Oberoi Beach Resort and we enjoyed it so much! The rooms are great: super clean, comfortable bed, plenty of space, very nice bathroom and the view is stunning! The restaurants do a great job: food is freshly prepared and very delicious, the drinks are super refreshing! The menu’s are for every taste. They are super flexible and ensure your taste preference and needs are met. We especially enjoyed the Restaurant ‚On The Rocks‘! The pools and beaches do invite you to relax and linger. The whole hotel complex with the beautiful garden is so well maintained and blends in very nicely with the nature of Mauritius - so much love and passion to details! The entire hotel team, from reception, over waiters to the housekeeping team and gardeners are outstanding: they are living pure hospitality & care, ensuring you have the best time with them! A special call out to Amanda, Mevin, Yash and Solomon, which absolutely exceeded our expectations! We thank the entire team for making our stay unforgettable! We can highly recommend to stay at The Oberoi Beach Resort and looking forward to our next visit!

I travelled with a friend for her birthday treat. We realised we are in for a great time from the moment we arrived and we were met by a charming valet who welcomed us graciously like we were some "queens". We had a grand welcome at the reception and the wow moment was when we entered our room only to be welcomed by a complimentary champaigne bottle and two maritim branded sunhats in a magnificent and spacious room. The services at the bar, restaurant, the SPA, the horse stable...all exceeded my expectations. Did i even mention that the DJ was so accommodating as to play a happy birthday song for my friend Joan, played for her a Kenyan song and played for me a Malawian song of my liking? And did i mention how the restaurant went the extra mile to bring for Joan a cake, sung a birthday song for her at breakfast? A rating of 10 cannot even begin to explain the experience at this hotel!!!
