A magical place in Zanzibar. Everything was beautiful and perfectly thought out in every detail. The hotel has a charming, boutique feel – definitely more so than a typical resort. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh, and the wide, sandy beach is a true paradise – one of the most beautiful on the entire island, perfect for long, peaceful walks. We visited both Clove hotels – the one in Makunduchi also left a very good impression on us.

Wow what an Incredible hotel. We had nothing short of a perfect stay. I can’t recommend this hotel enough- with absolutely nothing to fault as a guest. The hotel itself self is new and all the finishings and amenities show that, such a beautiful design with a beautiful vibe! The location is perfect for some quiet down time, only a few steps on your on white sand and blue waters, with other restaurants and hotels close by if you wish. Local tours are all central and assessable. The food at the hotel was the best we found from everywhere we ate. Not to mention the staff were all friendly and accommodating from the cleaners, wait staff and pool boys. And last but not least the hotel owners- the icing on the cake to an incredible stay! So friendly, helpful, accommodating and personal. You will not feel like another number at a large hotel here! You will feel like you’re in paradise with family.

The room was very big, a lot of space, same for the bathroom, the bed was comfortable, in the morning we got an amazing breakfast, the staff is very nice, and the owner as well. We stayed only one night, so we didn't had time to talk much with the staff, but we will come back for sure.

Amazing place. Staff went well and beyond any expectations. We arrived very early in the morning, and it was such a pleasant surprise that we were able to check in early. Breakfast was fabulous- loved the concept of fruit/bread/pastries and that you could choose the additionals (egg/pancakes/toast) from the menu. Fresh juice every day. Staff was so welcoming and smiling. We had many meals in the restaurant, and food was really delicious. In addition to the a la carte menu, it was a rotating daily menu. Really a good place to recharge and enjoy the amenities of the place- Pole Pole :) Quiet beach, with Mnemba Island in front of you. We booked a boat on the beach that took us to see and snorkle with dolphins- highly advisable.

The hotel is placed at a chilled, remote part of Matemwe, which was absolutly perfect for kit stay. The rooms are as intimate as the whole beach and the hotel. The service is wonderful, hotel staff is lovely and the food is tasty. Everything is clean and comfy:)

Wonderful Stay at Salama Mbuyuni Bungalow I had a fantastic experience staying at Salama Mbuyuni Bungalow. The place is perfect for relaxation and unwinding — peaceful, beautiful, and truly serene. The food was absolutely delicious; I especially recommend the Thai beef salad, which was a real great. The team was incredibly friendly and always smiling, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The calm, clean and beautiful resort. We had halfboard. Lovely dinner that was very tasteful and beautiful presentetd. A lot of dishes to choose from. The whole staff was very friendly and helpfull. The waitress Glory was so nice and kind. We also want to mention Hazel and Jean.
