Libertador San Martín, heart of the shopping and entertainment area. I have stayed here twice now. The spa and pool are a plus. The rooms are nice and the hotel is well staffed. Breakfast was good but not great.

We were confused by some of the negative reviews and realized that some of the older reviews seem to be from another hotel that was under and new management.

A daily buffet breakfast is offered. Perfect view from room and from breakfast. Nice terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff. Be sure to have dinner in the hotel. Food is awesome. If you arrive you may consider the price of the restaurant somewhat expensive. But El Calafate is very expensive. And compared to other restaurants we tried, the hotel is by far the best choice for a decent dinner.

There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The apartment also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The apartment is very close to the bus station, the room is spacious and there is a kitchen that I can cook the meal myself.
