The spa is also small, but the first day we were the only ones there and it was perfect. The staff is also very nice.

Every room also features an individually-decorated en suite bathroom with a telephone and a bathtub or a hydro-massage shower. Amazing place, truly one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. The style is that of a Las Vegas hotel, with rich decorations, themed rooms and halls, multiple works of art on diplay (most of them can be purchased) even in rooms. Large rooms, large bathrooms all amenities functional, most of the staff capable of speaking English. The hotel is a most unlikely appearance for such a small provincial town in the northern ( less developed) part of Bulgaria. I think it serves a starting ground for many guided tour activities to the amazing neighboring natural area of the Prohodna Cave. It serves thus, mainly groups of wealthy foreign tourists. The spa area is also nice. The parking area is sufficient. I only stayed here for one night as a rest stop on our returning route from Greece, but I'll be coming back for sure.

This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the children's playground, or enjoy views of the river and garden. Lovely house with big bedrooms in a quiet area close to the river. Felt like at home with well stocked essentials like sunflower oil, napkins, cups, 4 coffee capsules, etc. The TV was smart with YouTube, Netflix, etc. and the WiFi worked well in all rooms. There were occasional cats visiting us while we were sitting outside but they were very cute and seemed domesticated and fun to play with for a few minutes. They contributed to the feeling at home. The path up the road goes into the mountains and was a great 1.5 hours 6km walk (there and back) which was not very steep, just perfect for a short hike by the river in great scenery (we even saw 3 wil deer twice each time we went for a walk!). Everything was very clean and there were leaflets with great recommendations on what sights you can visit within 2 hours drive. The heating was turned on so the whole house was warm and cozy when we got there. They also let us leave a few hours later since the house was not occupied on the following day. We didn't light the fireplace but there was plenty of wood chopped and ready to use, if needed. The introductory message sent by the host made me tear up a bit with the amazingly well poetically written ideas/narrative on disconnecting, lighting the fireplace and truly enjoying the house and the surrounding nature. Will definitely come back when the weather is warmer to test the barbeque outside and the green scenery.

At the spa centre you can relax while enjoying the beautiful views of the surrounding river. The spa includes a sauna, a relaxing room, a Russian bath or banja, and an ice-bucket type shower. The breakfast was ok, nothing fancy, not too much diversity, still enough to start the day with energy. On the other side, the dinner buffet was excellent, many options to chose from. The SPA was great and the small pool with thermal water at ~40 degrees just next to the bigger pool with regular, cold water was an interesting experience, if you dare to swim in both pools. The hotel has also a kids corner, a room designated as a play area with many toys.

Other facilities include a bar, steam and hydro-massage bath, sauna and outdoor hot tub. Massages can be had against a surcharge. The property has a children's playground and offers free private parking. It was peaceful and quiet. Nice spa facilities. Not overcrowded. I had very good massage. Good breakfast and dinner selection. Not expensive wine list. Good surprise! We’ll go again!

Surrounded by forested hillsides, Park Hotel Fairy is situated 3 km from the centre of the resort village of Chiflik and enjoys outdoor and indoor pools with thermal water as well as wide range of spa facilities. It is a place which we know 20 years from 2006-2007. It is a very nice place, very clean, very quait. The meals were super. In one evening because we were some people they served at table, and they write the menu in romanian. Very nice thing. We were impresionated.

The Planinata is a modern Bulgarian spa resort constructed in 2010, 5 km outside Ribarica. The impressive array of wellness facilities on offer includes a hot tub, a sauna, and a massage parlour. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The location was perfect for us to go around. Near Teteven Saeva dupka near very nice villages.
