The greeting we received upon arriving by car at the Fairmont Hotel was exceptionally warm, setting a positive tone for our entire stay. This warmth extended to the valet parking, where a courteous staff member assisted with our luggage and parked our car. Alex, the receptionist, was among the most welcoming individuals we've encountered at a hotel check-in. Our room had a great view of Lake Louise and was clean. The hotel's location was ideal. Overall, this ranks as one of our top hotel experiences. So impressed were we that we chose to book a stay at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria for the subsequent weekend, a decision we had previously left open.

The Fairmont Banff Springs has a 32-metre lap pool and a 20-metre heated outdoor pool. The resort’s Fairmont Spa has 27 treatment areas and offers a variety of relaxing massages and beauty treatments. Other on-site activities for guests include bowling, tennis, horseback riding, and golfing. What is not to like it is iconic, beautifully organized, so much staff to help you. The rooms were beautiful. You don’t have to leave this hotel for the entire weekend. It is that beautiful and accommodating.

The comfortable, air-conditioned accommodation also comes with soundproofing and a fireplace. The apartment offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. The property was beautiful and being in the mountains just made it that much better

The location was fantastic to get into Canmore and to drive out to Banff. It was the perfect base station for all of our activities. The underground garage was quite useful with all the snow.

Canmore is a lovely town with the most hospitable people everywhere. We will definitely come back!
