Situated on the edge of Gruyères, the Hôtel de Gruyères offers you quiet rooms with balconies decorated in rustic style, and free WiFi access.
The garden and the terrace are great for unwinding during the warmer months. A spa area as well as a fitness room are at guests' disposal. Meeting facilities are available on site.
We stayed two nights end of November and booked a spacious quadruple room on the 3rd floor, which had a mountain view and side view on the castle. Everything was perfect: 1) Very close to the center of the village (there are only a few hotels in such proximity to Gruyeres and Hotel de Gruyeres is the most affordable); 2) hotel is located on the hill, so you do not have to go up from public parking P1, P2 or P3; 3) private parking with 9 places and a couple of places for motorbikes (free of charge); 4) if private parking is full, the car can be parked on P1, P2 or P3 for 10 CHF per day or free of charge between 18:00 and 8:00; 5) room is equipped with a fridge, kettle, safe; 6) fabulous fresh breakfast with a lot of choices; 7) very friendly ladies on reception; 8) wellness center with sauna and hammam (can be booked and ready for use in one hour of heating) and small gym (well equipped); 9) restaurant with a terrace outside with an amazing view; 10) 5 min to the cheese factory and 15 min to chocolate factory by car.

We had a great stay for one night. Room was cozy and clean, bed was comfortable. Location was good for visiting Gruyères medieval village and the spa access was a very nice plus. Breakfast was very good, lots of different things such as pancakes, bread, good variety of cheese, yogurt, merengue and double cream! The coffee was not so great, but for one morning it was okay.

Everything was amazing...from our greeting at reception to check-out...the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was lovely - comfortable and clean with a stunning view of the mountains and the castle :) Wellness Facilities were excellent and breakfast was tasty with an amazing variety. The hotel is in a great location with only a few minutes walk to the beautiful little village of Gruyeres. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Wonderful, classy, comfortable hotel right outside the Bulle train station (entrance is through the shopping centre with the Migros). The staff is excellent, the breakfast offered tasty, local varieties and was served until late, the suite was very spacious and comfortable and spotlessly cleaned. Having the Migros downstairs open every day until late was also extremely convenient as is the fact that you can take any train or bus right from the doorstep. The centre of the town itself is a mere 6min walk.

Great location by the thermal spa, with free access to the fantastic spa. Nice terrace, perfect for dinner and enjoying a drink. Great service at the reception. Great pastries at breakfast. Good discount for Sunday nights.

The service in the restaurant was very professional and the food of high quality and well prepared. The local wines proposed were excellent. Dinner was very enjoyable. The room was large with plenty of hanging and shelf space, and a safe at eye level. Great view from the room terrace. Good continental breakfast. Plenty of parking. Lots of foreign TV channels, including lots of English speaking ones. We will stay there again.

Everything! It's super cute and cozy and the staff are super kind. It felt like living in a fairy tale. The room was very clean and spacious, with a beautiful view and comfy bed. Also the breakfast, delicious. Thank you for everything <3
