At Hilltop House Resort guests are welcome to take advantage of a spa centre. You can play billiards and table tennis at the accommodation, and the area is popular for hiking and cycling. The hotel was modern and Zen in decoration. The staff is friendly and so helpful. The room was lovely and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with Chinese food. We used the free washers and dryers and petted the resident golden retriever. Just 5 minutes away is a good restaurant, and the views in the area are gorgeous!

Speaking German, English, Spanish and French at the 24-hour front desk, staff are always at hand to help. This was a pretty special stay. I was asked to give an english-class to the staff and i did that. Afterwards i knew at least one person on every shift. Smiling faces everywhere. Love it. They treated me so well. That was like the best hotel of all time, and i have seen a lot of hotels. Everything is easy within a 10 minute taxi drive and the room was superior, especially for the low price.

柏曼Borrman国际酒店-ZhangJiaJie National Forest Park East Gate Branch offers a buffet or American breakfast. First of all the location is great, it's right besides the entrance to the national park and theres street food 20 meters away. The room itself was definitely worth the price, really clean and fancy interior. Scott, the manager there, speaks great english and helped us a lot with booking and organizing our tour in the park. He drew us two routes and explained a lot about the park. He also offered to do our bookings for the tours in the area after we left the hotel (at normal entrance costs, no fees). The food in the buffet was also great.

Avatar Valley Grand Hotel offers a buffet or Asian breakfast. I was on business trip and had one weekend off that I used to visit Zhangjiajie. I was traveling alone and not speaking any Chinese. The stay was amazing, thanks to the hotel personnel. It was the best. Being picked up at the airport, the transports to the house, breakfast a back. Especially using google translate conversation app, makes it very easy and good to communicate. The lovely people can arrange everything for you. All thanks for taking care! You gave me an amazing experience!

Free airport pick-up was a huge plus - they even arranged a complimentary car to take us to the river, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast spread was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were incredibly helpful and always had smiling faces. Perfect for a relaxing few days away. Highly recommend.

Holy smokes, Sanctum Peaks wasn't just a hotel, it was our July savior!​​ Landing in Zhangjiajie during peak heat felt like stepping into a sauna, but this place? ​Pure, glorious chill.​​ The ​​"Icy Oasis Pool" (my nickname for it!)​​ was ​MASSIVE​ – legit feels bigger than three community pools combined! Floating around at sunset, watching the sky bleed orange behind those crazy peaks... ​mind-blowing scenery therapy.​​ For context: our kid did laps in his inflatable kayak while we sipped something cold – THAT kind of space! ​Total game-changer for the brutal temps.​​ ​Rooms nailed the vibe:​​ beautiful ​​"ancient charm" with dark wood beams and silk accents,​​ but also ​stone-cold A/C that worked like a champ​ (crucial detail!). It felt refined, not stuffy. Slept like a log after those long days. ​The REAL MVP though? Their "Adventure Concierge Team."​​ Seriously. We rolled up with zero plans, just said "show us the best of Zhangjiajie without melting."
