As the gateway to Xintiandi, the lifestyle and entertainment hub of Shanghai, The Langham, Shanghai, Xintiandi is ideally located adjacent to the retail utopia of Huaihai Road, surrounded by various trendy clubs, glamorous international restaurants and designer boutiques. Boasting Chuan Spa, an indoor pool and gourmet cuisine across several stylish restaurants, this property is a 1-minute stroll from South Huangpi Road Subway Station (Line 1), which provides easy access to the top tourist attractions in Shanghai. My recent stay at The Langham Shanghai Xintiandi was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and professional – from helping with early arrangements for a special occasion for my parents to offering excellent dining recommendations, everything felt personalized and warm. The room my parents stayed in was beautiful and perfect for their celebration. While my own room had a slight odor initially, the team handled it promptly after I informed the front desk, which I truly appreciated. One moment that truly stood out was when I encountered a dishonest taxi driver attempting to overcharge me more than four times the normal fare. Several hotel staff members (three or four, in fact) came outside to support and assist me immediately. Thanks to their calm and assertive help, the situation was resolved, and I felt completely safe and looked after. I’m sincerely grateful to those staff members for going above and beyond – because of them, what could have been a distressing moment turned into a reminder that kindness and professionalism can shine through, even in the most unexpected situations. Overall, the experience was memorable, and I would happily recommend The Langham to friends and family. Thank you for making our stay so special – and for helping me end my Shanghai trip with a truly positive impression of the city.

Our stay at J Hotel Shanghai was perfect from the very first moment we stepped in. The atmosphere and the attention to detail made us feel instantly cared for. Every aspect of the hotel radiates thoughtfulness and elegance. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding, both in variety and quality. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, and we were fortunate to enjoy a guided tour with Eve, who was simply wonderful. Not only she showed great knowledge about all the details in the hotel design and vision, but she was also extremely kind and dedicated to giving us attention and making this a memorable stay. It is rare to experience such a seamless combination of luxury, care, and warmth. J Hotel Shanghai exceeded every expectation, and we cannot wait to return.

Bellagio Shanghai is the first Bellagio Hotel in China and the second in the world succeeding its sister hotel, Bellagio Las Vegas. Situated in Shanghai in the Shanghai Area Region, 1.3 km from Oriental Pearl Tower, Bellagio Shanghai boasts a spa centre and sauna. The hotel has a fitness centre and indoor pool, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Guests can enjoy welcome fruits upon arrival. There was always one English -speaking staff at reception. We were so nicely upgraded to the Pearl Tower view, it's not the hub of the CBD but in a nice location for long walks, absolutely loved the room, the bathroom facilities and auto-bidet!!! Wow! Loved the tea selections (first time having Longjing tea), no one smoked within the hotel, it was kept clean and maintained. Housekeeping staff work very hard (clean 3 times a day!), and very friendly and always wanted to make your stay comfortable. The gym and swimming pool level had a cool complimentary BMI calculator.
