Just a 15 minute ride from the Kunming airport and the hotel provides a nice new van for personal pick up and drop off. (By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

Beautifully crafted hotel, large and spacious rooms and facilities, wonderful pool and spa area and in a fantastic location to visit LiJiang Old Town and surrounding areas. Excellent service. One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had.

Buffet and Asian breakfast options are available at the accommodation. It was newlt renovated. The lift is huge! The rooftop pool is great!! Breakfast was really good. Check out was easier. Room and washrooms are incredible.

The hotel is beautiful from the moment the car pulls up out the front. It's huge with 420 rooms. My rooms was quite a walk from the lift was there was a view everywhere. The room was quite large and had everything I needed to enjoy my 4 nights.

The SPA and wellness centre features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna and Visual Reality facilities. Clean, nice resort. Good breakfast buffet. Nice free tea ceremony in the lobby. Friendly staff. Dinner location is slightly without a nice atmosphere. Location is close to nature. Far from the centers, shops, restaurants etc. but easy to take a taxi. Hotel helps you arrange.

A wide choice of food are available for buffet breakfast. ​We had a fantastic stay at the Shangri-La resort and would highly recommend it! ​From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel's grandeur and beautiful decor. Our room was lovely—it was well-decorated, clean, and so cozy. We especially loved the high-quality amenities and the stunning view of the mountains and town. ​The complimentary breakfast was another highlight. There were so many delicious options, and we really enjoyed the variety. The staff were very attentive and always ready to help. While some didn't speak much English, we easily communicated using a translation app, and it was no problem at all. ​One of the most thoughtful things they did was surprise a family member with a birthday cake and a card. It was such a special touch that really showed their incredible hospitality. ​The resort is also in a great location. It was just a quick Didi ride to the ancient town, or a nice short walk if we felt like strolling. Plus, they even offer a convenient shuttle service to and from the airport or train station if you book it in advance. ​Overall, we had a truly wonderful time and can't say enough good things about our experience!

All guest rooms features a spacious area and rainfall shower. Some units feature a private balcony offering spectacular views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and central lake. The rooms themselves are also heavily inspired by local homes, a warm welcome ensured by the traditional Chinese wooden furniture; colorful hand-woven tribal-style rugs; and tactile textiles and wall-hangings. Jinmao Purelax Lijiang exceeded every aspect of our expectations. The staffs are super polite and helpful, rooms are neat and clean. We can see the Yulong Snowy Mountain right at the balcony and at the buffet hall. The internal landscaping is gorgeous. With trees and flowers of all kinds surrounded, there's a great sized lake where black swans and ducks call it home too. The hotel also keeps a few alpacas, ponies, goats and boarder collies. Our children really enjoyed petting the animals and feeding the swans and fish every morning.
