Vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options can also be requested. We had a fantastic time at Monasterio del Viento! It exceeded our expectations, especially since this was our first time visiting Providencia, and we weren’t sure how the island had recovered from the 2020 hurricane. The hotel is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, creating a tranquil and luxurious retreat. Alvaro, Melie, and the two ladies who cooked were all amazing—so welcoming and attentive. We still think about the delicious ceviche we had for lunch! We deeply appreciate all the effort put into making Monasterio del Viento such a luxurious and well-run option on Providencia—it truly shows. Herbert was incredibly easy to communicate with and arranged everything we needed seamlessly. The level of service was truly five-star, and we’ve already told many friends that if they ever visit Providencia, Monasterio del Viento is the only place to consider!

If you would like to discover the area, cycling is possible in the surroundings and EcoApartamentos Sunset Life can arrange a car rental service. We absolutely loved our time at Ecoapartamentos Sunset Life! Howard and Silvia were amazing hosts and incredibly kind. They helped us rent a scooter seamlessly and explained how to get to the market, bakery, beach, ect to orient us when we arrived. The location is perfect! 5 minute walk to the best beach on the island which includes 2 great restaurants, a sunset cocktail bar, and 2 dive shops. Perfect stay!
Posada Mango Tree

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Posada Mango Tree is situated in Providencia, 200 metres from Fresh Water Bay. Built in 2016, the property is within 1.8 km of South West Bay. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a tour desk and free WiFi throughout the property. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Everything worked as described. Friendly staff.

The friendliness and helpfulness from Loyda and the staff was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and serviced everyday. A great pool and beautiful sunset views from every room. Close to a lovely beach, supermarket and restaurants. Great service from a rental place across the road to hire scooters or 4 wheelers.

Doris and Cesar were brilliant hosts, despite us not speaking much Spanish they really helped us a lot!! Thank you both. The Yellow Home is a wee paradise, near the best beach and the homes are very comfortable and excellent at keeping mosquitoes away. Would recommend this place 100%

Cesar and his wife Doris are great hosts and offer authentic hospitality. They help whereever they can. They rent bikes and motorbikes at reasonable prices. The rooms are cleaned every day. The garden is a paradise of silence, with a little pool to refresh. The kitchen has every equipment you need, even to prepare yourself a breakfast or meal. The rooms have a perfect mosquito protection and air condition. We enjoyed the silence every day and will be back by chance. Definetly one of our best accomodation during the entire travels in Columbia.

+ extremely friendly and helpful staff + super nice location close (10min walking distance) to South West Bay + daily alternating breakfast + spacious rooms + possibility to rent a scooter directly at the hotel + the host arranged a private boat tour for us (which was absolutely worth it and amazing!!)

Jasmine was a very friendly and welcoming host. The atmosphere was tranquil and relaxing. The breakfast was great and she would cook what ever you wanted. The room was spacious and clean with aircon and cleaned daily. You can arrange a boat tour directly from the property and visit the best coral reef to snorkel.

Location is amazing Miss Portia and her family speak perfect English and are incredibly friendly and helpful. Super clean space with aircon and a fridge. No breakfast but miss Portias sister serves a delicious, cheap breakfast right next to the Posada. Would definitely recommend!
