Wonderful atmosphere as soon you set foot in the lobby and get welcomed with a delicious glass of wine. The rooms continue the theme of relaxing. Very calming tones and serene views. The beds are comfortable and the pillows can be individualized. We ate at the hotel restaurant which was a modern take on fine dining. Delicious selection on foods and wine with exceptionally friendly staff. We ended the night at the rooftop bar where we enjoyed live music and solid cocktails. The popcorn served at the bar was a new flavor explosion and we had to have the secret of their spices, which the friendly bartender happily shared. Breakfast buffet was variety rich and delicious. Free champagne was definitely a plus. I think a major plus is also the direct access to the Therme which makes for a luxurious stay. Rounding off our stay with a massage at the hotel spa. Definitely recommend a stay here. 10/10

Wellness Pension am Rain provides modern rooms and free Wi-Fi internet in the village of Winden im Elztal in the heart of the Black Forest. The guest house has its own swimming pool, sauna and offers massages. The Wellness am Rain felt so cozy and comfortable. It was the BEST place we have encountered in our 30 day trip throughout Europe. The staff is amazing very hospitable and friendly.

The day begins with a breakfast made from regional products, which combines a buffet and a daily changing selection of à la carte breakfast dishes. A varied selection of drinks is available around the clock. The garden, the living room lounge and the traditional parlor invite you to linger. The spa area offers a Finnish sauna with a view of the forest and river. Very nice hotel where all details are thought through. We especiall liked sauna area. Breakfast was also outstanding.

Hotel Schwarzenberg lies in the village of Glottertal in the Black Forest Nature Park. The creek side room is wonderful! Staffs are all nice. Great local to explore south Schwarzwald area!
