We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the owners were lovely and helpful. The accommodation was comfortable, rustic but full of character and charm, we really felt at home. There was air conditioning, which was great as we arrived in the middle of a heatwave. The accommodation was well equipped, there was even a basket of wool to knit or crochet with.
We walked to a beach at Matkolampi close by for a swim (highly recommend it) and had dinner at Millers BBQ that was a short walk away.
Super stay, I think we might be back next time we visit Hämeenlinna.

Great location in the beautiful countryside. Beautiful sand beach and great sauna cottage in visitors use. Even a sports hall and plenty of other activities! Perfect accomdation for families that are looking for laidback and relaxing atmosphere. Great location near to bigger cities (Tampere & Hämeenlinna).

The room we stayed in had been refurbished, including the wc/shower room. The rooms are rather compact but everything worked for us. Our 2 dogs were welcomed at €10 for the night. We also reserved the sauna, which was very nice. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented.

Cleaning ("make my room") service. Breakfast quality. The location of the hotel, as a lot of good sight-seeing destinations were within walking distance (<1hr one way). Especially the lake route an other nature paths were enjoyable. There is a variety of activities for many tastes. Frisbeegolf track is right next to the hotel. Hotel was away from the city center. Minibar had some extra space for personal drinks etc. Seemed like noise from other rooms didnt leak much to our room, which was nice.

The first thing you notice upon arrival is that all things around hotel are pretty old-fashioned. I would say it is a retro hotel. But if you don't concentrate on lack of modern style of furniture & all things around hotel in general you can see that all services are superb. SPA area is great, staff are polite, friendly & professional, rooms are good & bed is comfy & cozy. Breakfast was simply amazing & location & surrounding of the hotel are breathtaking. :) So I totally recommend this hotel. :))

Restaurant, good food very nice staff. Sauna’s at the spa, the outdoor pool. Spa was better for the kids than adults.
