This perfect little haven in the Petite France area of Strasbourg was an ideal base to explore this beautiful historic city. This renovated old building has everything - character, history, vintage furniture and modern facilities. We visited Strasbourg during the Christmas Market and while it was only a few minutes walk to the major market squares and the local restaurants, the immediate vicinity was pretty quiet - almost no vehicle traffic and just a few pedestrians, who mostly seemed to be taking their kids to the school opposite. We only saw one staff member (I’m sure there must be others) but he was very welcoming and informative, giving us good tips on where to go. We loved our room, which was very nicely furnished, but also had plenty of power points, a device charger on the desk and the most fantastic shower.

Château de Pourtalès is located in the north area of Strasbourg. It has witnessed years of European history, welcoming some of the most important musicians, philosophers and poets. It provides a spa area with Finnish sauna and relaxing facilities and which has direct access to the garden. Amazing place,we were happy with the room,breakfast and all surroundings. The personal was very friendly and helpful. When in Strasbourg we will definitely stay here again.

Fabrizia and Benoît were really nice and kind to us and the house was just perfect, very confortable and very well decorated, it had everything we needed. WiFi is great too. Parking inside was a plus. The kitchen is fully equiped if you need to cook, supermarkets are very close, very nice recommendations of restaurants by the hosts. We totally recommend this place and we are definitely coming back. Thank you so much for everything👏🏻🤗

Strongly recommend staying here - we were there with the family, and we would definitely go back just with my wife, to visit a bit more the region.

Amazing apartment with loads of character. Very comfortable. Plenty of space for our travelling 2 families of 4. Easy parking (we had 2 vehicles). Pleasantly surprised to find multiple saunas and spas available for our use. Close to beautiful restaurants and wineries (caves) across Alsace, and easy access to Strasbourg (amazing XMAS Markets).
