The Bath House spa offers a relaxation pool, an additional relaxation pool with massage jets, a sauna with salt therapy treatments, and a steam room. Wonderful hotel right in the centre of Bath's Royal Crescent. The staff were perfect, helpful and attentive. Many small details marked the stay, which shows the quality of the establishment (magnificent building, splendid interior). The room we stayed in (we had an upgrade) was on the back side of the hotel and had its own little terrace; it was very large with a bedroom area, a ‘sitting’ room, a very large bathroom and an entrance hall. We had no direct neighbours, so the room was very, very quiet. The breakfast was excellent (small buffet, and menu offering different types from full English to eggs benedict, and a vegetarian menu). The spa was very pleasant (too bad the sauna wasn't working, but the hammam, bubble bath and swimming pool were). We went there often and there were never more than 5 of us in the spa. We had also booked a treatment (‘work it out’ massage), which was absolutely brilliant (many thanks to Meg)!

The place was spotless , beautiful, decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit.

We loved the location and walked along the canal path that runs behind the property. We enjoyed the garden, it was just perfect.

It was warm and homely, with comfortable beds. Lovely personal touches everywhere, lots of clean fluffy towels and a very well-equipped kitchen. Everything had been thought of and we received a lovely welcome from Sandrine. The location is excellent, being so close to shops, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. Would highly recommend for a party of friends or large family get together.

Speaking German, English, Spanish and French at the 24-hour front desk, staff are always on hand to help. I stayed in an executive double room which was spacious and elegant. Fridge and an ironing board in the room. I must mention Stewart, one of the concierge team. He was exceptionally service minded and friendly.

L'Occitane beauty treatments are also available by appointment. What a warm welcome! A beautiful hotel and we were treated to an upgrade upon arrival. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed was big enough for us (we're tall people, 184cm & 195cm and usually don't fit in a standard bed in England). The food (both from the bar and breakfast) is fresh and tasty: loved it. We used the spa as well and that is a very nice bonus of this hotel.

Lovely decor, rooms very clean and comfortable, hot tub room was a highlight! Loved that the water temperature was very warm in both pools and our hut tub, it was a bit cold outside so it was perfect! We also recieved a small welcome gift (bubbles and dessert) for our anniversary, which was such a personal touch from the staff.

University of Bath is 3.9 km away and Bristol Temple Meads Station is 20 km from the apartment. Gorgeous apartment very close to the Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, and the Roman Baths. Tons of fantastic restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The apartment was beatifully decorated and indeed felt very luxurious. The bed and bedroom were very comfortable and the two bathrooms certainly helped when both of us were trying to get ready at the same time. Phoebe communicated the check-in and check-out instructions very clearly and they were easy to follow (keys pick-up/drop-off via lock box). She also provided useful tips and recommendations for the area that were very welcomed! The apartment had a mini fridge, a microwave, and coffee maker, as well as some basic cutlery and plates which were perfect for the night we chose to stay in with some cheese and wine.
