An apartment on a lovely old house just outside the town centre, with the beautiful Ventnor park opposite. Spacious inside, with all the facilities. A lovely garden for breakfasting or sitting relaxing, even though the weather was mostly too cold to take advantage this time. I checked with the owner about the ferry crossing, and he arranged a very good deal for us.

Great hotel, location brilliant, staff very attentive. The buffet "all you can eat" breakfast was very good, great quality and choice and everything cooked well. Dining, bar, lounge areas all very relaxing and plenty of space.

The view was good as were the linen and towels While the web stated “our spacious and bright dining room looks out to the front of the hotel and serves breakfast and dinner specially prepared for you. We also have a large bar and seating area which is a great place to relax and rewind. Bar offers a wide range of wines and specialist coffee, THE DINING ROOM BAR AND SEATING AREA WERE NOT OPEN. ONE HAD TO RING A BELL AT THE SMALL COUNTER TO CONTACT A STAFF MEMBER.

The property is beautiful, with a large comfortable living room and a large relaxing conservatory. Our bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. There were good breakfast options, and a couple of good local restaurants in walking distance for our evening meals.The staff are all really friendly, and have thought of everything in terms of guests' comforts. Sentry Mead provided the ultimate home-from-home experience. The Totland location also worked well for us, as we comfortably drove around the whole of the Isle of Wight with no issues.

Overall a great resort. Kids loved the playground, dog loved the outdoor spaces, husband loved the bar and we loved the private hot tub in the garden. We were able to cook in the kitchen comfortably and our cottage was very well located within the resort itself. It's a really good amount of space to live away from home and the hot tub made it really relaxing end to a short family trip. The resort is also dog friendly and very safe for kids.

Good breakfast was available at convenient hours, and served very efficiently with no hassle. All the staff were friendly, and the general atmosphere was relaxed. The whole place was very clean. The spacious car park at the rear was good. Ryde town centre is within easy walking distance.
