Craigey Beach Home is a beachfront property set in Edinburgh, 1.3 km from Portobello Beach and 4.1 km from Arthurs Seat. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the holiday home's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Craigey Beach cottage is your perfect "home away from home". The location is super convenient, the house is cozy and comfortable, the hosts are amazing and very responsive... and you get a fox to visit once in a while in the garden which we thought was a unique plus :-) Not to mention free parking in front of the house, which is convenient. We appreciated all the treats that were there for us upon arrival after a very long trip from Asia. We are used to tropical weather so the first night felt a bit chilly in the house but Charlie was here the next day to show us how to adjust the temperature. We also got great shopping and restaurants tips from Charlie and Michelle. The Beach House Cafe in Portobello was a highlight and a must-visit, as well as the restaurant strip in Leith called Shore -with the Ship on the Shore or Fishers, both really cool places to eat fish/seafood. This cottage is relatively close to Edinburgh university which makes it convenient for overseas families coming to set up their student children. Charlie and Michelle really care about you being comfortable during your stay at their property and will go above and beyond to accommodate and help you. That is a rare thing and made our trip so memorable. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!! We would definitely go back there any time we come back to Edinburgh.

Very large king room. Shower head was great. Didn't know there was a large indoor pool/sauna/spa when I booked, and they were wonderful. Large variety at breakfast. £18 if not prebooked, £12 if prebooked. Fantastic view. Spacious room. Hot tub. Lovely breakfast in quiet room.
Location was beautiful. The room was light, very clean and beautifully furnished. Our dog was welcomed throughout the property and had so much space to run around outside. Everything was so organised and well thought out but the stay felt so relaxed and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.
Warm welcome, comfort and cleanliness. Space, great relaxing area overlooking the garden and lovely bathroom with shower. Breakfast left in the kitchen was a lovely touch. Would love to stay again for longer.
Loved the comfy bed and our superior 2 double beded room. Great time at the spa facilities lovely pool and enjoyed the steam room and sauna. This was a family girls overnight stay. Really great breakfast can't wait to go again.
The hotel is situated in the grounds of a beautiful golf course and being outside of Edinburgh its a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast had good choice (however overpriced per person) and we did not have to wait like others have said in reviews. The pool area is clean and maintained and was nice to be able to enjoy the sauna and steam rooms at the end of the day after walking around. The room was clean however the decor is old.
The stay in the actual castle was amazing. The breakfast was top notch and the food overall was of high quality and decent portion sizes. The spa facilities were ok and the stone massage was so relaxing. The fact that you could use the spa facilities everyday of your stay for 90 minutes was a great idea. The grounds the castle is situated in are spectacular, secluded and quiet. Even though the nearest villages are only a mile away it definitely felt like you were getting away from it all
Everything was amazing, the room was big, clean and the bed was very comfortable The breakfast was great The sauna and swimming pool were very relaxing and just what was needed to relax and unwind
The room is clean & very relaxing, the breakfast are good. You have varieties of food. The breakfast room are spacious. The staffs are friendly.
The location is superb. Spa facilities great. Lovely to soak in the outdoor hot tub with massage waterfall feature. Warm up even more in steam room and saunas. The pool is excellent too. Next time I’ll hit the gym.
