Basically everything! Pleasantly, we were upgraded upon arrival to a wonderful, spacious, light and comfortable room. Staff were very attentive, showed us through the hotel’s lovely facilities and booked us into the restaurant where we had an amazing evening meal. Bed was heavenly comfortable where we slept peacefully followed by an exceptional breakfast. The grounds and spa facilities also excellent. A truly luxurious stay!!

Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay extra special for Max (age 9). Our trip to Edinburgh was a special treat because he's a huge Harry Potter fan. He absolutely loved Edinburgh and all it's Potter lore but the stay in the Balmoral was by far the highlight of his trip because of how kind everyone was to us (as well as it being a beautiful luxurious hotel of course).

Absolutely lovely hosts as well.

Continental and Full English/Irish breakfast options with warm dishes, fruits and juice are available. Lovely place to stay with excellent facilities. We loved the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Everything was very clean, bed was very comfortable and the BnB is in a lovely, peaceful area. Vegan breakfast can be provided on request.
